ABOUT

Stepping Stones Children's Ministry serves children from birth through the summer of their sixth grade year, offering activities and classes where kids can grow as Jesus grew, in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man. 

We do not provide childcare at Cornerstone, we provide soul care! 

That means we believe that the souls of our kids are precious, and we want to make sure that they are equipped with the Good News of the Gospel, that they engage weekly with the Word, and that they learn to exalt Jesus with their lives. 

We intentionally design our Kids gatherings to provide a safe and fun environment where they have the freedom to be kids, but also walk away from each gathering with a growing understanding of God and His Word.

Nursery

Our Nursery Team focuses on nurturing our smallest disciples from ages birth-2 years old through providing an environment that makes kids feel safe and loved.

Nursery Care is provided on Sunday mornings during our worship service and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

Children's Church

Weekly on Sundays during our worship service for kids ages 2 years - kindergarten.

Meet in Sanctuary for Worship Service at 10:00 am and following Praise & Worship time, children are dismissed to Children's Church. 

Kids enjoy a Bible lesson and fun activities that help reinforce the lesson.

Gospel Project

Sundays at 9:00 am

Using the Gospel Project curriculum, each class is a place where kids dig deep into God’s Word together. This Bible study shows how Christ fits into the entire gospel story, pre-creation to eternity. These classes give kids a place to connect and fellowship with their peers; developing strong Christian friendships.

Awana Clubs

Wednesdays
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm 
(Aug - May)

Awana is a children’s ministry program for children ages 2 - 6th grade that incorporates Bible teaching and scripture memorization with tons of fun.

Ages 3 - rising 7th graders

Next summer, your kids are headed to the Emerald Isle—a land of rolling hills, ancient castles, and one unforgettable adventure… An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23.

Through music, crafts, games, snacks, and more, they’ll explore Psalm 23 and discover what it means to have God as their shepherd—leading, protecting, and caring for them every step of the way.

SERVE IN CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Serving in Stepping Stones Children's Ministry is more than just volunteering. It’s about being a part of life change in our younger generation and is a catalyst to community and spiritual growth. 

Every volunteer member of our children’s ministry team is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections with both children and parents. 

To serve in Children's Ministry, you must be a member of Cornerstone for at least 6 months. Every volunteer undergoes a background check and receives training. These steps help create a supportive and safe environment for both the volunteers and the children they interact with.
