The Heart of a Sportsman Group at Cornerstone is
not your ordinary Men's group. Sure, there's plenty of Bible study, but
it's 'Bubba Style'. Don't be surprised if you walk in to find turkey
feathers all over the floor or antlers everywhere! And events...well,
let's just say they're the biggest dadgum redneck gatherings you'll ever
see. If you are a sportsman and an outdoorsman in your
heart and soul, then Heart of a Sportsman is just for you. This group is
truly for the wild at heart. Along the way we'll not only learn how to
become better hunters and fishermen, but grow closer to the One who
created the great outdoors. This men's group will surely help you bring

Do you love the Lord? Do you love hunting? Have you ever wondered
if you could combine the two? We have come up with a creative way
to do just that. We are working on a project called "Lord of the
Spring" that is designed to share the Gospel with hunters across the
nation. Take a look at the video that shares our heart for the
project. We are so excited to be a part of this project - we'd love
for you to join us in carrying out the Great Commission to sportsmen

Catfish Ironman ChampionsOn July 24, 2009 the Heart of a Sportsman guys won the first annual Catfish Ironman Fishing Tournament. They caught over 90 pounds of catfish. The night was filled with great food, fellowship, fishing and fun with friends from Colonial Baptist Church and Stanleyville Baptist. 2008 Redneck Olympics – Cornerstone Baptist
Church October 25, 2008 – Watch the Godtube video and check out some cool footage of the 2nd Annual Redneck Olympics. It was one of the biggest gatherings of good ole’ boys and gals you’ve ever seen. Participants ran through an obstacle course – “bubba style” competing for some awesome prizes.
